Lahinch is absolutely a must-see town, situated only 5 minute drive from the Cliffs of Moher Hotel.The beautiful beach sweeps past the town and creates waves for Surfing. Lahinch is acclaimed for the top quality surfing conditions available offshore. Indeed the Guinness record for number of surfers on a wave is held by Lahinch. Surf lessons and equipment for hire as available in the village. Other water sports including kite surfing and windsurfing are catered for as well. The pitch-in-putt course is two kilometers outside the town on the road to Liscannor. It lends a lovely backdrop to one of the finest golf courses in Europe as well. The locals say the Old Course at Lahinch is Tiger’s favourite place to play golf when he comes to Ireland.
